Description
GF Signet 3-2630-2 Amperometric Free Chlorine Electrode, 0.05–5 ppm
The GF Signet 3-2630-2 Amperometric Free Chlorine Electrode provides continuous free chlorine measurement in clean, fresh-water treatment systems. With a measurement range of 0.05 to 5 ppm (mg/L), this sensor is ideal for monitoring residual chlorine in drinking water, water distribution, cooling water, food and beverage processing, swimming pools, water parks, and other disinfection applications.
The 3-2630-2 features GF’s patented DryLoc® connection for fast installation and reliable connection to the required GF Signet 2650 Amperometric Electronics. Gold-plated electrical contacts and an O-ring seal help maintain a secure, waterproof interconnection while allowing the electrode to be serviced or replaced without installing new signal cable.
An embedded smart-sensor memory chip stores important operating information, including the electrode type, serial number, measurement range, accumulated service time, temperature history, and detected pH limits. This information can be accessed through a compatible GF Signet 9950-3 or 9950-4 Chlorine Controller.
An integrated Pt1000 temperature element provides automatic temperature compensation for dependable chlorine measurement as process-water temperature changes. The replaceable PTFE membrane, gold working electrode, and silver-halide reference electrode support fast response and stable performance in properly controlled applications.

Compatibility and Installation Requirements
The GF Signet 3-2630-2 requires GF Signet 2650 Amperometric Electronics to generate a digital S3L signal for a compatible 9950-3 or 9950-4 Chlorine Controller. Compatible flow-cell options include the GF Signet 3-3610-1, 3-3610-2 and 3-4630.392.
The electrode requires a stable flow of chlorinated water across its membrane and must remain in chlorinated water during operation. It should not be used in water containing surfactants, oils, organic chlorine or stabilizers such as cyanuric acid. Chlorine dioxide, ozone and bromine may interfere with measurements.
