Genesol 80 – 25 Kg Pail – Inline high pH cleaner for control of biofilms

Genesol 80 is a high pH membrane cleaner for use in reverse osmosis (RO), Nanofiltration (NF) and Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane systems. As a cleaner, Genesol 80 targets biofilm which predominantly consists of a glycocalyx layer of extracellular polysaccharide materials secreted by bacteria under stress.

When this biofilm layer complexes with organics commonly found in membrane systems they become extremely challenging to remove. It is a surface-active cleaner and foulant dispersant. Application Genesol 80 can be used off-line as part of the normal membrane. CIP procedure at a concentration of 2% v/v.
