Description
The MZ-Controls ZLS-3 is a compact, lightweight industrial limit switch box designed to provide reliable valve-position feedback in demanding indoor and outdoor environments. Its high-grade die-cast aluminum housing combines low weight with excellent mechanical strength, making it well suited for automated valves, rotary actuators and industrial process-control applications.
For enhanced corrosion resistance, the aluminum enclosure receives two chromate treatments followed by a durable polyester powder-coated finish. The weatherproof IP67 and Type 4X enclosure protects internal switches, sensors and terminal connections from water, dust and corrosive conditions.
The ZLS-3 features a double-sealed visual position indicator that helps prevent water ingress if the external dome becomes damaged. Spring-loaded cams allow open and closed limit positions to be adjusted quickly by hand without special tools, simplifying installation and field maintenance.
Standard configurations accommodate two mechanical limit switches or proximity sensors with an eight-point terminal block. Optional configurations can support up to four mechanical switches or proximity sensors, expanded terminal blocks, three-way valve indicators and position-transmitter controls.
