Description
2540 Stainless Steel High-Performance Flow Sensor
The Signet 2540 Paddlewheel Flow Sensor, crafted from durable stainless steel, ensures superior strength and corrosion resistance for various liquid applications. Its advanced internal circuitry, devoid of magnets in the process fluid, accurately measures flow rates from 0.1 to 6 m/s (0.3 to 20 ft/s). The sensor’s insertion design is enhanced by Ultraflon™ 500C bearings and a Tungsten Carbide pin, providing exceptional wear resistance.
Key features include field-replaceable electronics and transient voltage suppression (TVS), safeguarding the sensor against significant voltage disturbances like lightning. The sensor is compatible with pipes ranging from DN40 to DN600 (1½ to 24 in.), utilizing a 1½ inch NPT or ISO 7/1-R 1.5 threaded process connection. Additionally, a hot-tap configuration with a bleed valve allows service without process shutdown in pipes up to DN900 (36 in.).
