The 4.5″ x 20″ 5 Micron Polypropylene String Wound Filter Cartridge provides dependable sediment filtration for residential, commercial, and industrial water treatment applications. Manufactured with high-purity polypropylene yarn wound around a rigid polypropylene core, this cartridge delivers excellent depth filtration performance and high contaminant-loading capacity.
The string wound construction creates a graded density structure that effectively captures sand, silt, rust, scale, and other suspended solids throughout the filter depth, extending service life and maximizing dirt-holding capacity. Its large-diameter Big Blue®-style design supports high flow rates while maintaining low pressure loss.
